Does the overlay work in Fortnite?

Yes. Epic Crosshair is a system-level overlay and is game-agnostic: it draws on top of the screen regardless of what runs underneath. Launch the app, choose a dot or small-cross loadout, set Fortnite to Windowed Fullscreen, and the marker stays visible through drops, rotations, and endgame chaos.

Fortnite updates frequently, but because the overlay never hooks into the game, new seasons and weapon pools don’t affect it. Your settings carry over untouched.

Anti-cheat note for Fortnite players

Fortnite runs Easy Anti-Cheat, which scans for software that modifies the game or reads its memory. Epic Crosshair does neither — no file changes, no memory access, no injected input. That keeps it outside what EAC flags. Competitive play (cash cups, FNCS) has stricter rules than pubs, so verify the current tournament policy before competing.
